Tenafly Welcome! Committee

The Tenafly Welcome! Committee is a group of dedicated volunteers, made up of new and long time residents. We range in age and we speak ten languages. We personally welcome new residents, in their language of choice, and present them with a NJ state award-winning welcome packet. We also host three new resident events per year. Past events included a pool party at Tenafly’s local swim clubs, a meet and greet at Borough Hall and an invitation to the Tenafly Nature Center’s maple sugaring event. We are supported by local businesses, the Borough of Tenafly, and our volunteers.

The Tenafly Welcome! Committee offers excellent volunteer and community service opportunities. Come meet new people and help out for as little as an hour or two a month or more. We are looking for volunteers to help compile and deliver welcome packets and to help with new resident events. Please contact us.
