DOG/CAT RENEWALS DUE

All dogs and cats over 6 months of age must be licensed. Last day to renew will be February 28^{th.

Pet Licensing January 1st through January 31st

Licenses are required under Borough Ordinance No. 1221 for all cats and dogs seven months of age and older.  The license registration form is available on this web site and may be downloaded for your use.  The license fees are:

DOG        $  12 .00     Spayed or Neutered                          

                 $  15.00     Unspayed or Unneutered

CAT         $    8.00      Spayed or Neutered

                 $   11.00    Unspayed or Unneutered

Proof is required to document spayed or neutered dog or cat.  Proof of recent rabies vaccination is also required.  Free rabies vaccination program is available from veterinarians at Closter, Cresskill, Englewood Animal Hospitals and the Tenafly Veterinary Clinic.

There is a minimum fine of $ 49.00 for failing to obtain a pet license.
