Snow Removal for Senior Citizens and/or Disabled Homeowners
Once again, a program to assist homeowners in the removal of snow from their sidewalks and driveways will be in effect this winter. This program is for those residents who are unable to do the shoveling themselves and are unable to find someone to do it for them. Homeowners who are interested in this service must register with the Mayor's Office in advance.
The Mayor's Office is also looking for volunteers to help staff this program. Not only is it good community service, but shoveling snow is an excellent exercise for those healthy enough to participate.
