CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER – BOROUGH OF TENAFLY, Bergen County, FT position available immediately. Budget $24.9 million. Serves as Director of Finance Department and Municipal Treasurer. Department consists of budget and accounts payable, payroll, treasury and tax collections.  Supervises staff of five FT employees. State certification as CMFO required; State certification as Tax Collector is desired.  Responsibilities include the control of the financial resources of the Borough, carrying out financial policies and procedures, maintaining general ledger, in-house preparation of all financial documents including budget, fixed asset reports, Annual Financial Statement, annual debt statement and audit schedules and other duties required by law.  Knowledge of payroll required. Strong computer skills required. Graduation from an accredited college with Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics or business administration required.  At least five (5) years supervisory experience in areas of financial management such as accounting, budgeting, auditing or fiscal analysis required.  Salary commensurate with experience.
