Rear Yard Garbage Collection

Zone 1 - Mondays and Thursdays

Zone 2 – Tuesdays and Fridays

Household garbage will be collected from the rear yard between 6:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. except designated holidays.  Collections missed on holidays will be made up on the next regular scheduled collection day. Designated holidays are: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.

The contractor is required to collect garbage from the rear yard, which is defined to be within ten (10) feet of the rear or side of a building. Garbage containers equipped with lids must be provided by the property owner and shall not exceed thirty (30) gallons capacity. A walkway or path to the containers must be kept clear of snow and ice.
