William J. Morton Basketball Tournament 

The Morton Basketball Tournament is held in honor of the late Recreation Director William J. Morton.  The tournament takes place each year in late March.  7th and 8th grade boys travel basketball teams from around the region are invited to participate in this annual event.  The tournament is a double elimination style tournament played over the course of a two week span.   

Registration for the March 2009 tournament will begin in December 2008.  Coaches, players or teams interested in participating should contact the Recreation Office at 201-871-3008 for more information.  Team registration is accepted on a first come, first served basis.
