9/8/2014 - Public Comment Period - Tenafly Nature Center Environmental Assessment Report - 9/8/14 - 10/8/14


Thirty (30) Day comment period with regard to change of use for 2 acres of Tenafly Nature Center commencing Sept. 8, 2014.

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection and the National Park Service have accepted for review an Environmental Assessment Report, submitted by The Tenafly Nature Center Association (TNCA) on behalf of the Borough of Tenafly, supporting an application for Significant Change of Use with respect to approximately two acres on Block 2702, Lot 1 in the Borough of Tenafly in Bergen County, to permit TNC to build a new Education and Discovery Center. Block 2702, Lot 1 is Federal Land and Water Conservation Fund encumbered property. The Environmental Assessment Report may be obtained as set forth below.
The Public Comment Period shall end on Oct. 8, 2014.
