COVID Update 01-29-21

Hello.  This is Tenafly Mayor Mark Zinna with a Friday coronavirus and news update.

 Since Friday of last week, the number of coronavirus cases in Tenafly has grown by fifty-six new cases, bringing our total cumulative cases to 671.

 The number of total COVID deaths remains at 24.

For up-to-date detailed links for vaccine registration and locations please remember to visit the Tenafly website. Tenafly Seniors should call Michele at the Senior Center if they would like assistance with vaccine information. The Senior Center phone number is 201-569-2159.

If you are ill and have symptoms such as cough and fever, it is recommended that you contact your medical provider and do not attend public gatherings or go to work/school. If you are not ill and have no symptoms, practice good hand hygiene and avoid people that are ill.

We are in regular communication with our Borough and County Health officials, the County Executive and the State Department of Health. We will continue to provide updated information to our residents.
