Join Christine as she shares her insight and techniques into creating your ideal health and wellness roadmap through nutrition, mindfulness, and making healthful choices. “EASE into Healthful Choices” workshop series is designed to help individuals who want to make more healthful choices in their lives but struggle to find a starting point. 

Friday, June 2 at 2:00- High Tea- Senior Center 

Join us for tea and a story! Wear a hat and dress up! You will be treated like royalty! $10 per person. Space is limited. 

Friday, June 9 at 2:00- Glory of Old Hollywood - Senior Center 

Ron has hosted his own show CLASSIC MOVIES WITH RON on national TV since 2013. He is an ex-pert in all genres of old Hollywood films from the 1930's through the 1960's and loves sharing this knowledge with other movie fans & buffs.

 Strawberry Grilled Chicken | Sourdough Grilled chicken breast with sweet strawberries, Vidalia onion mayonnaise, lettuce, and Swiss cheese. 

 Turkey Avocado | Honey Wheat Oven-roasted turkey breast topped with avocado, sprouts, Swiss cheese, lettuce, and our signature sauce 

 Vegetarian | 13-Grain Mushrooms, cucumbers, vine-ripened tomatoes, sprouts, roasted red pep-pers, and avocados on lettuce with cheddar cheese and pesto mayonnaise. 

 BLT avocado | Honey Wheat The ultimate BLT piled high with bacon, lettuce, tomato, Swiss cheese, avocado, sprouts, and our signature sauce. 

 Albacore Tuna | Sourdough The best fancy white albacore tuna with Swiss cheese on crisp lettuce. 

Thurs. June 15 at 2:00- Mindfulness  - Senior Center

Mindfulness is the practice of paying attention to the present moment without judgement. 

Mindfulness practice has many benefits for well being, however; it can be challenging to practice. We will view a video discussing the attitudes that facilitate the practice of mindfulness followed by open discussion.

Thurs. June 30 at 2:00- Evan Weiner Talk  - Senior Center 

The United States and Canada share a large border. It can be argued that the United States started in 1763 with the Treaty of Paris and the British leaving the northern and southern colo-nies alone militarily. Canada is a big country and didn’t really become a country until the 1980s. The United States purchase of Alaska played a big role in the formation of what is today Cana-da.
