Saturday, Dec 2 at 2:00 Nutcracker Holiday Concert-Senior Center

Come enjoy an afternoon of beautiful piano music and storytelling. Hear the story of the Nutcracker and enjoy some hot chocolate.

Tuesday, Dec 5 at 1:00 Koffee Klatch-Senior Center

The term “coffee klatch” comes from the German word, “kaffeeklatsch,” which translates to coffee (kaffee) + gossip (klatsch). It refers to a group of friends getting together over a cup of coffee ( or a treat) . Join us once a month for this casual gathering.

Thursday, Dec. 7 at 1:00 Holiday Extravaganza-Senior Center

Forget the Rockettes, we have the Tenafly Senior Center Tappers!!! Jean Martin will lead the show! Join us for an afternoon of Holiday Favorites as our tap class entertains us!! Show starts at 1:30—Doors open at 1:00. Hot Chocolate will be served.

Friday, Dec 8 at 9:30 –11:30 Achieve Home Care Marketing Event-Senior Center

This sponsored program will include information from V & S Rehab, Allegro Senior Living, 101 Mobility and Cross Country Mortgage. Santa pictures at 10:30. There will be raffles! Stop by the center for some fun. Thank you, Achieve Home Care for this event. Light Refreshments will be served.

Friday, Dec 8 at 2:00 Religion in America-Senior Center

The story of Joseph Smith is an intriguing American story. In 1823, in upstate New York, he claimed to have been visited by an angel who revealed an ancient holy text. Over several years he dictated an English translation, and in 1830 The Book of Mormon was published, and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints was founded. We will examine the history, the beliefs and practices . LDS missionaries will be here to speak with us.

Tuesday, Dec 12 at 1:00 Holiday Luncheon-Senior Center

Join us for a buffet lunch catered by TPR! Price is $13.00 per person. Bring a $10.00 unisex GRAB BAG gift—if you want to participate in the grab bag. Wear your dancing shoes!

Enjoy a morning coffee or tea while painting shirts (or any other clothing item) with Jane. $10.00 pp. All supplies included—except the item being painted. You must bring your own item to be painted.

Wednesday, Dec. 20 at 6:00 Men’s Shopping Night-Senior Center

Sorry ladies, men only. Shopping and Dinner! Sign up today . Bring a friend! Open to the public. There will be a few vendors here to help you complete your last minute holiday shopping.

Bagels served at 9:30 , Bingo game starts at 10:00. Come for some fun and prizes!! Bagels with butter or cream cheese and orange juice will be served. Pre– registration is required.
